The community issues one set of badges to be used all year by all guests.
Badges are checked at the pool and beach during normal hours of operation and anyone over the age of 5 must have a badge.
I have seen security ask people who are fishing at the lake to see them, but in general, they are not needed to just be "out and about" the community.
The replacement costs is $250 if any badge is lost. After the 3rd lost badge they suspend amenity use for the remainder of the year. Full forfeiture of your security deposit will occur if any badge is lost.
I am sorry to have to be so strict about this.
House Rules
🚽Septic System
Septic-safe toilet paper only. No wipes, hygiene products, or feminine products. These will cause serious damage to the septic system.
🚫The Nos
No smoking inside home (including vaping and marijuana). Outside is fine but please away from open windows.
No fireworks ($1000 fine)
No noise after 10 PM (quiet hours 10 PM – 8 AM)
Climate & Comfort

Controlled by individual room thermostats

Turn off when running A/C
❄️Air Conditioning
A/C units in each bedroom plus one large unit in the loft. Run all bedroom units to cool entire home. The loft unit can be noisy - use only when needed.
🔥Fireplace
Non-venting gas fireplace controlled by a thermostat dial located under the unit in the lower compartment—use the handle to access. Set your desired temperature: counter-clockwise for warmer, clockwise for cooler. The fireplace will cycle on and off automatically to maintain the set temperature. Non-operational May through August.
PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH LOG SET FOR ANY REASON. Please do not use the fireplace while running the A/C.
